I make an attempt at specifying methodological features under hich a theory may be avowed to be non-classical with respect to the extant scientific knowledge. One such feature is the case when a theory suggests a systematic description of objects that display a paradoxical, or unexpected behaviour (usually dubbed \u2018nonclassical objects\u2019), and another, when it proposes a radically new conceptual approach for grasping the nature of familiar phenomena. The first case is realized in quantum theories, and we are faced with the second in the theory of relativity, or in genetics. The \u201csociological\u201c role of scientific communities is also taken into account. It is shown in the end that some Para science could eventually turn into non-classical science, only if it could be embraced by some consistent methodology of scientific growth. The article makes a comparative analysis of different types of borders in the social system until 1989 in Eastern Europe and later in the system of the second Bulgarian capitalism, integrating Bulgaria into the system of world capitalism. align=\"left\">\n<p><strong>ON THE \u201ePURIFYING EXERCISES\u201c IN HESYCHASM<\/p>\n<p> Abstract<\/strong>. The article traces the development of the idea of \u201cpurification\u201c (katharsis) from the ancient mythology, Pre-Socratic philosophy and Plato to Judaism. Then it scrutinizes manner by which the Patristics absorbs this idea and turns it into a daily practice of permanent \u201cexercises\u201c, which lay down the foundation for the development of the mystic \u201clove of wisdom\u201c (philosophia), understood as the \u201cscience of sciences\u201c and the \u201cart of arts\u201c. It is attained by external and internal \u201ctranquility\u201c, \u201cpeace\u201c, \u201csilence\u201c and \u201cspeechless state\u201c in which the ascetics devoted themselves. In the Hesychasm the \u201cpurifying exercises\u201c are realized through successive practical and contemplation \u201csteps\u201c, fulfilled with care, commitment and persistence following the common paradigm, which is essential of all \u201cspiritual exercises\u201c, elevating the ascetic through the levels of the sacred road towards the God and reaching the \u201ctrue love of god\u201c.
