The article, leaning on some ideas from educational sources, represents some solutions for suitable methods to assess students\u2019 performance: electronic manuals for training and evaluation, assessment scales, measurement cards. As an objective main method of evaluation in teaching the module \u201cMetalworking machines and tools\u201d, a method- testing is discussed, which is used to assess the students\u2019 acquired knowledge and skills, their quantity and quality, nature and shortcomings. It is used as the only method of evaluation for modular training with the relevant rules for the weight of the test compared to the total number of points which together form the \ufb01 nal mark for the module.
