Abstract. Physical education is a process that includes two components: educational and instructional. In Bulgaria, the standard for educational content is published on the website of the Ministry of Education and Culture and encapsulates the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that students must have at the end of the relevant educational level or stage, in this specific case after the second grade. At the end of the second term of the training, the achievement of the expected results is monitored. In the Kingdom of Norway, the expected results for the subject of Physical Education are published on the page of the Directorate of Education at the Ministry of Education. Here, the expected results for the grade mentioned above actually cover two years - the first and second classes. The purpose of this report is to present an overview of planning, curriculum content, and expected outcomes in second grade
